In partnership with Bibliotheque Multiculturelle de Laval, this activity allows Intervention Workers from MED to be accessible to families, in a safe and beautiful space. The Bibliotheque Multiculturelle is a rich resource animated by adults who are simply present, to have fun while concentrating on being rather than doing. Our objective is to develop a trusting relationship that allows to actively listen, hear, and answer questions, as well as promote the many resources, organizations, and events in the neighborhood. By offering an activity during the weekend, outside of MED, this allows us to reach more families and reduce the obstacles to participating in community life.

Here, children learn to persevere in a more difficult subject and remain motivated academically in a friendly context that is positive to their learning.
